Located just 7 km from the False Bay coastline, the estate benefits from a natural break in the coastal ridge that funnels cool south and southwesterly breezes directly toward the vineyards. These winds play a vital role in moderating summer temperatures, creating an ideal climate for premium viticulture.
The estate spans 40 hectares under vine, established in 2004 with a diverse selection of varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Pinotage, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chenin Blanc.
Post House Stamp of Chenin is a boutique, 100% barrel-fermented Chenin Blanc that captures the depth, texture, and age-worthy potential of this noble varietal. Crafted with minimal intervention and produced in limited quantities, the 2024 vintage showcases the rich versatility of Chenin Blanc—a grape that thrives in expressing both terroir and complexity.
Rooted in the heritage of the historic Helderberg post office, the wine’s name reflects Post House’s tradition of postal-themed labels while the wine itself reflects the precision and care of artisanal winemaking. Aged on lees and gently oaked, Stamp of Chenin reveals vibrant tropical aromatics, a creamy mid-palate, and a lingering, mineral-driven finish.
Elegant yet structured, this wine offers immediate drinking pleasure with the potential to evolve gracefully over the next three to six years—an ideal addition to any collector’s cellar or thoughtful food pairing.
