Bodega Torrederos
The Origin
In 1998, four wine-growing families united to bring a shared vision to life: the creation of Bodegas Torrederos in the village of Fuentelisendo, nestled in the heart of one of Spain’s most renowned wine regions—Ribera del Duero.
From the very beginning, their goal has been clear: to craft wines of the highest quality, with a meticulous focus on every detail, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
From vineyard to bottle, Bodegas Torrederos remains committed to crafting wines that faithfully reflect the soul of Ribera del Duero—wines with character, elegance, and authenticity.
The Vision
"We didn’t just want to grow grapes. We wanted to create something lasting—wines that our children and grandchildren would be proud of."
"The land speaks if you listen to it. We respect every vine, every season, and every harvest."
"Our wines don’t chase trends. They tell the story of who we are and where we come from."
"Few Wineries care and cherish their vineyards as we do in Torrederos. We prime this quality to produce premium wines."
— Jose Mari and Serafin, Co-Founder
Viticulture & Terroir
The estate owned vineyards are situated at elevations between 850 and 900 meters above sea level. Surrounded by the traditional Castilian landscape, the vineyards coexist with native herbs like chamomile, rosemary, and lavender, which flourish under the shade of pine and fig trees—elements that contribute to the unique expression of the terroir.
All grapes are harvested by hand, and only the ripest clusters of Tinta Fina—the local name for Tempranillo—are selected for vinification. The grapes are handled with the utmost care and transported using modern equipment to preserve their integrity.
The wines then undergo aging in French and American oak barrels, followed by bottle maturation—each step carefully adapted to the style of wine being produced.
